Persian Minakari is a captivating enamelwork tradition that has flourished in Iran for over 2,000 years. This exquisite craft brings vibrant, hand-painted designs to metal and ceramic surfaces, creating stunning decorative pieces.
The Process: Skilled artists use copper, silver, or ceramics as a base, meticulously painting intricate designs with finely ground glass infused with metallic oxides. Once applied, the enamel powder is fired at high temperatures (750-850°C), fusing it onto the surface for a smooth, glassy finish.
